JOB DESCRIPTION AND INFORMATION:
Here at Garden Street Fabrics & Interiors, we strive to provide excellent customer service while providing our clients with a creative and enjoyable experience. We specialize in Fine Fabrics for the home, such as furniture, lighting, wallpaper, bedding, accessories, and much more. This position will include responsibilities of Showroom & Project Coordinator. The Showroom Coordinator's responsibilities include answering phones and maintaining the showroom at all times, greeting clients, answering any questions they may have, and directing them to one of our designers for further assistance. The Project Coordinator portion of the position will involve placing orders for fabrics and other items, checking orders in, and distributing those shipments to the appropriate project. Other duties include contacting clients to bring in pieces for upholstery and when to pick up completed items. There will be various other duties as needed. Experience using Quickbooks, retail sales, merchandising, or interior design is preferred but not required. However, a passion and interest in Interior Design and Home Decor is necessary. This is a part-time contractor position with weekly hours ranging from 25-30 hours per week, $15/hr.
